Pantauan media ini, rangkaian kegiatan dalam memeriahkan hajatan nasional GAMKI di Kabupaten Alor ini antara lain; Lomna Solo dan Vocal Group serta Pameram Ekonomi Kreatif dan UMKM sejak 17 April 2024 di kawasan Watamelang-Watatuku, Kalabahi. Selain itu ada kegiatan Kebaktian Kebangunan Rohani (KKR) dan puncaknya, Pawai Perarakan Paskah Nasional pada Selasa (23/4/2024) ini.

    Berkaitan dengan kegiatan Pawai Perarakan Paskah Nasional di Kalabahi ini, Sekretaris Umum DPP GAMKI, Alan Ch. Singkali menghimbau para pemuda, jemaat dan masyarakat di Kabupaten Alor agar menciptakan suasana keamanan yang kondusif guna mensukseskan Pawai Paskah dan Puncak Perayaan Paskah Nasional GAMKI di Kabupaten Alor yang digelar, Selasa (23/04/2024).

    “Saya himbau seluruh pemuda Kristen dan masyarakat Kabupaten Alor untuk menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban demi menyukseskan kegiatan Pawai Paskah dan Puncak Perayaan Paskah Nasional yang digelar di Kabupaten Alor,”kata Singkali yang tiba datang di Alor, Senin (22/04/2024) untuk menghadiri kegiatan nasional ini.
    Singkali juga ketika itu memuji keindahan alam dan laut Pantai Aikoli dan Kabupaten Alor umumnya.

    Himbauan senada dikemukakan Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Kabupaten Alor, Drs.Soni O.Alelang dalam acara pembukaan Perayaan Paskah Nasional GAMKI di Kabupaten Alor ini pada tanggal 17 April 2024 lalu. Soni Alelang berharap, seluruh masyarakat di daerah ini turut menjaga keamanan dan mengamankan kegiatan keagamaan tingkat nasional yang digelar GAMKI ini.

    “Kita semua diminta untuk menjaga keamanan, agar semua kegiatan berjalan dengan aman. Kita ciptakan suasana yang kondusif karena akan datang banyak orang, sehingga ceritera keharmonisan kehidupan di daerah ini menjadi simbol daerah,”himbau Alelang.

    Menurut Alelang, untuk mendukung kegiatan Perayaan Paskah Nasional GAMKI, Pemerintah telah berbicara dengan seluruh komponen masyarakat untuk bersama-sama kita selenggarakan agar Perayaan Paskah berjalan baik dan sukses.

    Sementara itu, Koordinator GAMKI Wilayah Bali-Nusra, John Lim mengungkapkan, Alor ditunjuk oleh GAMKI pusat menjadi tuan rumah Perayaan Paskah Nasional ini karena Kabupaten Alor dinilai sebagai Daerah yang memiliki nilai kerukunan hidup antar umat beragama yang tinggi .
    Warisan toleransi atau kerukunan yang terjadi di masyarakat Kabupaten Alor ini, ungkap Lim, selain dialami semua masyarakat dalam kehidupan setiap hari sejak dulu, dan juga dibuktikan dengan Penghargaan Dari Pemerintah Pusat kepada Kabupaten Alor yakni Harmony Award.

    Untuk diketahui, informasi yang diperoleh media ini dari Ketua DPC GAMKI Alor, Dematrius Mautuka, bahwa Pawai Perarakan Paskah ini dengan titik start dari Sekretariat GAMKI Alor di kawasan Watatuku pada Selasa (23/4/2024) Pukul 11.00 Wita hingga finish di Stadion Mini Kalabahi.
